Clancy Nixon, Lead Pastor, Rector

Pastor Clancy leads Church of the Holy Spirit. For more detail on his bio, click here. He is married to Ginger, and they live in Broadlands. They have two grown sons, Will and Sam. Clancy casts vision, preaches and teaches, manages the staff, disciples leaders, and does pastoral care and healing ministry. He loves Jesus, and he loves his work! He is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan (don’t hold it against him; he grew up there) and he roots for the Redskins, too. He enjoys life: walks with his wife Ginger, reading C.S. Pastor DeanDean Schultz, Associate Rector        

Pastor Dean is an Anglican Priest.  He serves in the areas of pastoral care, preaching and teaching, prayer ministry and worship.  Dean also leads Worship Equipers for Christ, an interdenominational missions ministry committed to helping equip 21st century Christians to experience life transforming worship that advances the Kingdom of God into the nations of the world by  providing special worship celebrations, seminars, workshops, retreats and schools for churches and Christian organizations.   Dean and his wife, Glorianne, live in Potomac Falls.  They have three grown children and four grandchildren. john nuzumJohn Nuzum, Pastoral Associate

Pastor John is an ordained Anglican Deacon who helps with pastoral care.  He also assists at the Holy Table during worship services.  His office bids him to serve all who are in need, particularly the poor, the sick, and the lonely; widows and orphans; the last, the least and the lost. John is also a home group leader, Bible teacher, and mission leader for our annual trip to the Lacroix New Testament Mission in Haiti. He also ministers to the persecuted church in a Muslim dominated country in the Middle East where he ministers to both Christians and Muslims. John has a heart for Men’s Ministry, and has led many Men’s Retreats.  John is gifted in evangelism, administration, and the gifts of the Spirit include miracles, healing, and words of knowledge.  He lives in Leesburg, has two married daughters, seven grandchildren and two dogs. Dave Prosser, Pastoral Associate

Pastor Dave is an Anglican Priest, who ministers to the last, the least and the lost.  His wife Carole works with Kairos Prison Ministries in the correctional facilities in Fluvanna, Virginia. He teaches our core curriculum and Bible studies.  He leads our church planting effort at Ashby Ponds Retirement Community in Ashburn, leading Bible Studies, prayer meetings, hymn sings, healing services and more.  He also leads a home group in Ashburn.   Sara Johnson, Youth Minister

Sara leads our Senior High, CORE and Middle School (MSM) ministries on Sunday mornings and afternoons, aided by her awesome husband, Keith. She is tireless and cheerful, both important qualities to keep up with this age group!  She is a gifted children’s and adult’s choir director. Sara has her Bachelor of Music degree from Rice University and her Master of Music from George Mason University. She has lead youth ministry for over twelve years and has taught music for kids from preschool to college over the past 20 years.      Terry Johnson, Children’s Minister

Terry Johnson, who leads our Children’s Ministry, has an evangelical background from childhood. As she grew up, she was immersed in AWANA, Good News Club, VBS, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Sunday School, Youth Group, and choir. As a graduate of Liberty University, she has years of classroom teaching experience which she brings with her to this position.  She is dedicated to helping parents keep their children from falling prey to this world system and encourages a Christian worldview in the children of Church of the Holy Spirit. Bo and Teresa CookBo Cook, Interim Minister of Music 

Bo has dedicated his life to the worship of God, and to helping others worship Him in Spirit and Truth. He leads our music ministries, and is also a missionary with WYAM – Loudounburn, which aims to recruit worshipers to praise and pray around the clock locally.  He likes to involve our talented youth as singers and musicians in our praise band. Harold Jones, Church Administrator

MANLEY, Pam smallPam Manley, Rector’s Secretary 

Pam works in the office as Clancy’s assistant and receptionist. Hers is the first smiling face you see when you come into the office!  She juggles many responsibilities, including scheduling space use at the Church.  Pam lives in Ashburn with her husband, Scott.  Her daughters are Sara and Kaylin who are now both married. Bobbi Shahan, Bookkeeper

Ginger Nixon, Communications Coordinator

Ginger Nixon is Clancy’s wife, and she is also our Communications Coordinator.   She has a pastor’s heart, and she has much experience in the corporate world in communications.  She worked for Price Waterhouse and Freddie Mac before helping Clancy plant Church of the Holy Spirit.  She has been deeply involved in women’s ministry, intercession teams, and healing prayer ministry. She edits the Godsend, our e-newsletter, and oversees this website. She and Clancy have two grown sons, Will and Sam.
