God Heals Today!

We firmly believe that Jesus is alive and is still healing people today! As a community we love to pray for the sick and we anticipate seeing miracles. We have a Healing Prayer Team, which is available to pray for you and your family. God heals us not only physically, but He also heals our souls and our spirits, often through the prayers of His people. Over the years we have trained many people to pray for the sick and operate in their spiritual giftings. As John Wimber said, “If you want to see more healings, then pray for more people!”

Why Might I Need Healing Prayer?

Are you experiencing any physical disease or injury?
Do you lack the joy that God intended for you?
Do you have habits or thought patterns that are not helpful?
Are you living in unforgiveness or bitterness toward one who hurt you?
Do you have compulsive or addictive behaviors of any kind?
Have you experienced emotional wounding or trauma in your life?

These are just some of the indications that you can benefit from healing prayer.

Healing Ministry Prayer Training on Wednesday evenings

Equipping the saints for the Great Commission ministry of healing the sick and casting out demons is a core component of what we do at Church of the Holy Spirit. See the Healing Training Page webpage for more information and registration for our training classes.

Some Ways to Receive Prayer at Church of the Holy Spirit

Many of our people are comfortable praying for any need at all, so if you ask for prayer at any time, informally, or say, in the coffee hour, you will likely receive it right then and there! Just ask us, we are happy to pray for you, or to arrange a prayer time for you.

Sunday Services

Prayer teams are available during Holy Communion at the front corners of the room and after Sunday services, for shorter prayer times.

First Saturday Healing Service at 5:00 pm

Join us at church for worship, teaching, words of knowledge and healing prayer on the 1st Saturday of every month at 5:00 p.m. Our Healing Prayer Team would love to pray for you. After the service there is hospitality in the fellowship hall. You are very welcome to join us and receive prayer regardless of whether you are a regular member of our church. This meeting is open to all!

Prayer Appointments

We offer extended prayer appointments for those who would like to receive further ministry. You will meet with a team of two Prayer Team ministers for a prayer session that can include prayer for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.  Often people come to receive inner healing from past traumas, fears or limiting beliefs, or freedom from afflicting spirits.
