Clancy Nixon, Rector
Pastor Clancy is an Anglican priest (elder) who leads Church of the Holy Spirit. For more detail on his bio, click here. He is married to Ginger, and they live in Broadlands. They have two grown sons, Will and Sam. Clancy casts vision, preaches and teaches, manages the staff, disciples leaders, and leads our Healing ministry. Clancy is gifted in the 5-fold ministry of Ephesians 4: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher. He loves Jesus, and he loves his work! He is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan (don’t hold it against him; he grew up there) and he roots for the Washington teams, too. He enjoys life: walks with his wife Ginger, playing pickle ball, reading C.S. Lewis, and drinking a homemade green smoothie every day. Email:

Dean Schultz, Associate Rector
Pastor Dean is an Anglican priest (elder). He serves in pastoral care, preaching, teaching, prayer ministry, and worship. He also leads Worship Equippers for Christ (WE), a missions ministry dedicated to helping equip the body of Christ for worship renewal through special worship celebrations, retreats, seminars, conferences, and Faith Pilgrimages to the Holy Land and other parts of the world. Pastor Dean is gifted in the 5-fold ministry of Ephesians 4. He and his wife, Glorianne, live in Sterling, VA, where they host a monthly home group. Dave Prosser, Pastoral Associate
Pastor Dave is an Anglican priest (elder), who has the heart of a deacon, ministering to the last, the least and the lost. He does many healing prayer appointments, and teaches our core curriculum and Bible studies. He leads our church planting effort at Ashby Ponds Retirement Community in Ashburn, leading Bible Studies, prayer meetings, hymn sings, and healing services there. John Nuzum, Pastoral Associate
Pastor John is an Anglican deacon. He also assists during worship services. He joyfully serves all who are in need, particularly the poor, the sick, and the lonely; widows, orphans, and the imprisoned; and the last, the least and the lost. John also leads a home group in Aldie. He is our mission leader for our annual trip to the Lacroix New Testament Mission in Haiti. He also ministers to the persecuted church in a Muslim dominated country in the Middle East where he ministers to both Christians and Muslims. John is gifted in evangelism, administration, healing, and words of knowledge. He lives in Leesburg, has two married daughters, seven grandchildren and two dogs. Sara Johnson, Youth director
Sara grew up in Kansas City. She has her BA from Rice University in vocal performance and her MA from George Mason in vocal studies. She and her husband live in Leesburg and have four children, 2 dogs, a rabbit and chickens! Throughout the years she has taught music and Bible classes from preschool age through university. Sara has been involved in youth ministry for over 14 years, and is happiest when surrounded by teens, whether at church or at home. Debbie Jones, Director of Children’s Ministry and Special Events Coordinator
Debbie grew up in Pennsburg, PA in a Christian home and was active in a local church. She graduated from Bob Jones University with an education degree. She met her husband, Harold, at college and together they began their ministry in Christian education at a church in Alexandria, VA. Debbie taught for 30+ years and has earned her Master’s Degree in Christian Administration. She loves teaching young people about the Lord Jesus! Using her creativity, Debbie loves to plan fun and engaging activities for all age groups. While Debbie enjoys crafts and sewing, being a grandmother has become her favorite new hobby. Monica Whitmer, Healing Administrator and Rector’s Assistant
Monica is Pastor Clancy’s assistant, and also our Healing Administrator. She has two children, Wayne and Lilly, and lives in Charles Town, WV. She has a heart of compassion for those who are hurting, and a wonderful warm smile of welcome for all! She operates in amazing gifts of discernment of spirits and healing. Miriam Rodriguez, Nursery Coordinator and Sexton
Miriam loves the little ones! She has been with us, is it forever? No, but for many, many years, she has watched over our small kids and seen them grow up in the Lord. Everybody loves her warm smile, endless energy, common sense with kids and communication with parents. She also helps keep our building clean and coffee prepared on Sundays! Harold Jones, Church Administrator
Harold oversees finances, administration, and facilities for the church. He has 30 years of experience as a Christian school administrator in Northern Virginia. Harold’s calm and playful demeanor, and his wise stewardship, have helped our church tremendously. Harold and Debbie have two grown children, Stephen and Brittany, who also reside in Northern Virginia. Harold enjoys tennis, pickle ball and doing building projects around the house. Bobbi Shahan, Bookkeeper
Bobbi does much of the detailed number and paper work behind the scenes to make sure our bills are paid and our books balance properly. She is a member of our daughter church, Ascension, in Kearneysville, WV. She lives in Ranson and enjoys biking. You can reach her at bobbi@holyspiritleesburg.org.
Theresa Luchuk, Audiovisual and Communications Coordinator and Alpha Administrator
Theresa loves CHS! She has been attending since shortly after moving to Virginia in 2017, and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the church. She has her BA in Classical Liberal Arts from Patrick Henry College. Her passions are Jesus, equestrian sports, science fiction, and being with her fabulous husband, Andrew.
