Ascension - Church of the Holy Spirit

(Church of the Ascension is the daughter church of CHS.)

The logo for Ascension is a triangle shape, which sets our attention on the Trinity. It also speaks to the 4 aspects of their church identity: Spirit, Sacrament, Scripture, and Sent. The negative space vertical lines point to Jesus’ ascension into heaven and the descent of the Spirit to empower the Church for mission till Christ returns.

Darryl Fitzwater, and team, are planting Church of the Ascension near Martinsburg, WV. Recently, he spoke to our congregation about the core values, mission, and dream connected with this new church. You can hear that message by clicking here.
