MUINTEARAS HOUSE

Muintearas House Vision:

Muintearas House is an evangelistic and discipleship ministry to men of all ages, ethnicity, religion, and class.  Our goal is to see men come to the full knowledge of Jesus Christ and to know him as Savior, Priest, and Lord.  Not only does this mean becoming his disciples, but also maturing into disciple makers who multiply the kingdom of God.

Muintearas House is a “life on life” discipleship ministry providing teaching, training, and equipping in righteousness, “…that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”  We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, and that God commands us to follow the teaching and godly examples found in his Holy Word.  To that end, we hold to the command that we are “…to stir up one another to love and good works….”  We do this by living together in community, so that we may “…exhort one another every day…;” and by walking in his divine power in “…all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them we may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire…”

Who will likely be participants in the Muintearas House ministry model?

For the residency program, typically it will be men who are interested in establishing and building a firm foundation and maturing as a Christian.  These men may be right out of high school, out of a treatment program, out of prison, or out of life.  While any man may apply to become a member of Muintearas house, we will carefully weigh each application and seek God’s wisdom and insight.

The men of Muintearas House are men of peace.  We are seeking a better life, and are willing to sacrifice what we want in order to receive what we need.  We will not take men who are unwilling to submit to authority or unwilling to change their behaviors and attitudes of the heart. Therefore, the screening process is thorough and effective.   We do not deny entrance based upon sexual orientation, religion, age, degree of brokenness, or past offenses. Rather, we welcome all men of peace, regardless of their station in life.   Men who enter Muintearas House must come in the spirit of peace and submission.  They do not have to be a Christian; however, they must be willing to be taught, trained, and exist in a Christian environment.
